Chapter 15

When Holden wakes up the next morning he ends up calling Sally Hayes. He makes a date with her for later that day. He talks about how his dad gets angry when he loses his stuff and his mother isn't the same after Allie's death. Holden goes to get food at a sandwich shop and runs into 2 nuns who are going to teach at school. He talks to them and randomly discusses Romeo and Juliet. While departing he gives them $10 which later really regrets not giving more. Eventhough he needs that money for his date. Ends the chapter with money always makes people depressed.

It's really cool that holden makes a faith connection here. He doesn't belong their church or anything but still makes a contribution for a greater cause than his date. He shouldn't feel guilty he still gave thats what counts.
