Stradlater goes into the bathroom to get ready and Holden follows. He's watching him get ready. Holden describes Stradlater as full of himself and handsome. Then Stradlater ask Holden to do him a favor and write a comp. paper for him. It can be about anything it just needs to be descritive. And put the comma's i the wrong spots. Holden jumps on S and they start wrestling around. Then Holden asks him about his date. He says her name is Jane and it ends up being the girl Holden used to live next door to. Holden asks S to send her his hello and to ask her if she still keeps her kings in the back row. That's the good thing about S he doesn't need to know every detail. Partly because he just doesn't care but still. Holden can't stop thinking about Jane.
I like this chapter and how it makes S seem like a pretty preppy boy. I wonder what the deal is with Jane and why he can't stop thinking about her.
