Chapter 3

Holden starts off saying how he's the most terrific liar every. He can lie for hours straight. He lives in Ossenburger named after a rich man who had once gone to Pency named Spencer Ruon Osseburger. Holden says how he himself is quite illiterate but loves reading. Then he starts describing Ackley whose tall, wierd, clamy, has bad ackney and a bad personalitity. Ackley comes over to his room while Holden is reading and stands right in his light. Holden tries giving him hints to leave like geez your standing right in my reading light. Kinda making it hard to read with you in here. Ackley had Holden get up go to the closet and get down a pair of scissors so he could cut his nails. Which he did right on the carpet. Holden keeps calling Ackley, Ackley kid which he hates. They start talking about Stradler, Holdens room mate. Ackley hates him and isn't afriad to show it. Stradler then walks in and tells them his date is waiting in the car. Stradler is full of himself but had a dang good build.

I think it funny how Holden really doesn't care for Ackley but still likes having someone to talk to. It's also ironic that they had just been talking about Stradler then he walks in.
