Nick feels like he needs to warn Gatsby. But then Nick says morning might be too late. Nick goes over to Gatsby house and he brings up the story again of Daisy....Daisy was the 1st nice girl that Gatsby be ever met. He would go to her house with a bunch of friends then ended up just being those 2. He knew how many men like her and thats he it was so great that he liked her. Gatsby knew he had no real past that would impress her so he made the best of of his military uniform. He said he had no real right to touch her hand. He was getting her a false pretense and had nothing great to give her. But none the less.. they were in love. Gatsby was extrodinary in war. Daisy would write him letters but finally stopped and would have 6 dates a day with 6 different men. Then she met Tom. It was 9 o clock Nick had to go to work but he didn't want to leave Gatsby. He had already missed 3 trains by the time he finally left. When reaching his house he turned around as he had forgot something and called back. You're worth the whole damn bunch put together.( 162) This was the only compliment he had ever given him. At work Jordan called around noon and said how he wants to see him.... ---- Michaeli's asking Wilson lots of question about Mrytle. Wilson then finds the dog leash. Wilson had said to Mrytle, you may fool me but you can't fool God. (167)Wilson says he know who killed his wife. Heard shots fired and Nick, chauffeur, butler, and gardner rushed to the pool where Gatsby was. They found Wilsons body.. The halocaust was completed.
