Chapter 2

Nick goes with Tom to the city where they meet Tom's mistress. They go to there house and see Mr. Wilson. Tom's girl looks mid 30's and stout. (29) Tom, Nick , and Mrs. Wilson head to the city where she buys a dog. They take a train to NYC but sit in different carts. They go to Mrs. Wilson's apartment. Mr. Wilson thinks that everytime she makes a trip to NYC she is going to see her sister. But really she goes to apartment to meet up with Tom. She calls the up the people who live around her to come over for a bit. They get extremely drunk. Nick says its the drunkest he's ever been. Myrtle changes her clothes and also her personality. She is making violent gestures and being loud and rude.They talk about Gatsby is the nephew or cousin of Kaiker WIlhelm and that is how he is so rich. Catherine Mckee tells Nick about Tom and Daisy will get divorsed, Tom will marry Myrtle and they will move out West together until he whole thing cools down. Myrtle started talking about Daisy and kept repeating her name. Tom got mad and punched her in the nose breaking it. (41) Nick left and slept in the train station drunk waiting for the 4 am train.
