Bullets are flying and in the midst the lieutenant gets shot in the hand. They soldier get out there handkerchievfs and try to stop the bleeding. Henry and the 304th load their guns and get ready to fight. It ends by saying "he thought he might very likey run better than the rest of them". Still talking about not being brave enough. He thinks when the time comes he will chicken out and be afriad.
I kinda confused on where they are in the battle.. are they fighting right now? or how far into this war are they?
