They start of describing scene again.. The young talks about how he never should have come to the war and wished he hadn't enlisted he says the government is just taking him out to be slaughtered. The middle talks about the brigade going on.. The young says it's pointless and wants to go home or back to camp atleast. At the end the loud soldier tells him this will be my first and last battle. He gives Henry a package to take back to his parents. Clearly stating he thinks he is going to die.
I was confused of what a scrimister is.. . and when the loud soldier tells him now eat and shoot..
