Chapter 2

Well in chapter 2 they describe the scene as heavy air, cold with dew.. kinda depressing
Then kinda used a metaphor.. a mass of wet grass, march upon, rustled like silk..
The young says he feels seperated from the group and depressed
I was confused when the girl was saying hit with a stick.. dont understand whats going on here
The mood was = darkness.. the boy then talks to the loud soldier.. loud asks him whats wrong and they talk.. the soldier says that he may not be the braviest soldier but he is willing to do his share of fighting... The whole chapter the youth realizes he is a mental outcast
