Chapter 15: The next game they beat the giants 8-3. Mr. B was there sitting in the same spot as normal. Later that night Mr. B came up to Sly's porch wanting to know if he signed or not. He told him he didn't and Mr. B's face lit up. He said good-bye and stay happy and left. Next game Sly was up to bat, he was trying to look for George but couldn't find him anywhere. The count was 2-2 and Sly swung on the next pitch that ended up landing right in the catchers glove. He had strucken out. They were losing 3-5. Then going to right field he made an error. Next time up to bat he looked for Mr. B and realized he would never see his friend again. He got a hit and it went right in between the center fielders legs. But they still lost 6-8. After the game he was awarded a trophy for being Hoopers greatest athlete ever. Walking alone carrying the trophy suddenly it didn't seem as heavy as when he had gotten it. Like someone else was helping him carry it.

Chapters 13 and 14
Chapter 13: George said this is where I'll leave you and left. Snooky wants to talk to Sly but it was already 5:30 so he ran home. Snooky follows and wants to see George. Sly tells him you must have seen him he was just with me. Snooky didn't see anyone and Sly turns to look at George but doesn't see him anywhere. Snooky goes into saying it's possible since Sly is a gemini that makes him able to see into the beyond. When Sly got home he explained the wholte thing to his mom. Next game Sly had 3 homers but they still lost. A reporter came to his house and offered him 15,000 to print his bio in their magizine. He would be able to travel to NY 3 or 4 times for talkshows and more. He tells the man he will think about it and get back to him.
Chapter 14: Sly wants to ask George what he thinks about it. Finally he sees him, and has the chance to ask. George says fame is dangerous and could ruin his life. But the choice was up to Sly. George says he won't be around much longer and that Sly hitting might go down. They shook hands and George says he'll see him at the next game. Sly ran into Snooky who had been spying him. Chapters 11 and 12
Chapter 11: Sly has now moved up to the 4th batter. He's up to bat and gets a ball. On the 2nd pitch he hits a homer over the left field fence. Snooky is sitting right beside Mr. B. So Sly guesses Snooky took up upon himself to get introduced to him. Sly is still in right field he gets up a fly. He loses it in the sun up some how ends up catchin it. The crowd goes crazy. Next time he was up to bat the other team called a time out. The pitcher threw him 4 wild pitches and for the 1st time ever Sly had gotten walked.
Chapter 12: The fans yelled and roared because they were so mad. Sly didn't really care though he hadn't gotten out and thats all that matters. Sly was on 1st but the next 2 got out. They were tied 3-3 they got 2 runs in making it 5-3. Again it was tied up and Sly was up. Again he got walked. Bases were loaded and Jerry hit one right over the 3rd basemen making the score 7-5. Next morning the papers said Redbirds player continues sensational hitting streak. two national magazines had made write ups about him. Sly doesn't understand what the big deal is. At the last game there were reporters and news programs there. Sly got walked but then hit 2 homers and 1 grandslam.After the game George Baruth was talking to Sly and said he's a celeb but advice him not to let his head get swell. Sly said he'd rather never play baseball again than get a big heaad. He could hear Snooky coming behind him.

Chapters 9 and 10
Chapter 9: Sly was up to bat and the other team called an infield time out. He had 3 balls on him and on the 4th pitch it was right over the heart of the plate. He nailed it over the right field fence. The score was 4-5. They coach told them never be ashamed to lose, everybody loses sometime but play to win. They got it all tied up. Sly gets back to to bat and the count is 1 and 1. Next pitch he swung like it was a lose balloon. It went over the center field fence. The pitched walked the next 2 batters and the next 2 got out. They won 7-6. Reporters asked him questions. Snooky says the him being a gemini makes him have more ability than an average person. Snooky asks Sly who we always waves at behind 1st base. Annoyed by him Sly say he's gotta go.
Chapter 10: Snooky followed Sly and says he wants to treat Sly to pie a'la mode which is Sly's favorite. While eating Snooky says.. Sly were friends right? Then says tell me the secret about George Baruth. Snookys buys him another piece. Snooky wants Sly to introduce him to George and the next game. But before Sly answers that he runs out and home feeling like he's going to e sick. He gets into bed and sleeps. He misses his next game and his team loses 4-10. Chapters 7 and 8
Chapter 7: The team went out to get banana splits after the win. It was the biggest banana split Sly had ever had. When he got home he found his mom had made her famous apple pie. Sly also treated himself to a slice of that. Sly felt sick to his stomach after stuffing himself so he laid down on the couch and fell asleep. When he awoke George Baruth was there. George knew what Sly had eaten and not to worry about it. But not to stuff himself like that again or Sly will be sitting on the sides watchin the game. Mr. B says see ya at the next game and leaves. Sly later asks his mom he she had meet Mr. B. He's mom didn't know who that was or what he was talking about. She says she never let anyone in the house. She says Sly must have dreamed it all.

The coach yells at the boys, this isn't tiddly winks its baseball so lets get going. Sly gets up to bat and drills out over center field fence. He jogged around the bases and all the crowd cheered. Playing right field a ball rolled in between his legs. He left sick over his error.He's up to bat again and the cheerleaders had made a cheer for him. Sly was blushing as he stepped into the plate.

Chapter 6: Out in right field Sly made a catch and threw home. The pitcher caught it and whipped in home for the 2nd out. The next batter grounded out ending the inning. Sly was up to bat and had a strike on him. The next ball was high outside and the ump smiled as he called strike. The next pitch was the exact same so Sly went for it to keep from striking out. He cracked it over the right field fence! They had a solid next inning ending the game with a win of 6-5. After the game Sly recieved a lot of praise from the crowd. A younger boy named Snooky came up to Sly and asked what his birthday was. Sly told him June 7th. Snooky found this very interesting meaning that Sly was a gemini. Mr. B came up to sly and said congrats on the good hitting. But when Sly turned around he was gone.

He played right field and the ball that was hit to him went right in between his legs. Next time he was up to bat he hit it to center field but the fielder caught it. He ended up catching 1 , dropping 1, and getting a single in the rest of the game. They lost 4-5. The coached pulled him aside after the game and said he just couldn't understand why he wasn't the same boy he had seen at practice. Sly wonders if the coach will drop him.
Chapter 4: Sly had to write a comp. paper and he wrote his over snakes. But he really wanted to write it over baseball. Baseball is his favorite sport and he loves everything about it. Babe Ruth is his favorite player with 714 homeruns in his baseball career. They now have another game. Sly had a full count and hit a homer the first time he was up. Everyone came out and waiting for him to come around the bases. He was then in right field and a ball that was hit to him he missed. He could feel himself lose balance and down he went.
