Chapters 11 and 12

Chapter 11: Sly has now moved up to the 4th batter. He's up to bat and gets a ball. On the 2nd pitch he hits a homer over the left field fence. Snooky is sitting right beside Mr. B. So Sly guesses Snooky took up upon himself to get introduced to him. Sly is still in right field he gets up a fly. He loses it in the sun up some how ends up catchin it. The crowd goes crazy. Next time he was up to bat the other team called a time out. The pitcher threw him 4 wild pitches and for the 1st time ever Sly had gotten walked.

Chapter 12: The fans yelled and roared because they were so mad. Sly didn't really care though he hadn't gotten out and thats all that matters. Sly was on 1st but the next 2 got out. They were tied 3-3 they got 2 runs in making it 5-3. Again it was tied up and Sly was up. Again he got walked. Bases were loaded and Jerry hit one right over the 3rd basemen making the score 7-5. Next morning the papers said Redbirds player continues sensational hitting streak. two national magazines had made write ups about him. Sly doesn't understand what the big deal is. At the last game there were reporters and news programs there. Sly got walked but then hit 2 homers and 1 grandslam.After the game George Baruth was talking to Sly and said he's a celeb but advice him not to let his head get swell. Sly said he'd rather never play baseball again than get a big heaad. He could hear Snooky coming behind him.
