After another one of his friends leave him and gets completely drunk. He calls Sally and makes her and her grandmother mad. Then he tries making dates with different girls. He decides to go visit the ducks at central park. He had splashed himself with water trying to sober up and his hair freezes, then he drops the record he had boughten for his little sister. This thought makes him sick to his stomach and depressed. Holden wants to see his sister so he decided to risk the chance of getting caught by his parents and decides to walk home.
I can't even imagine missing my siblings funeral! That would make me sick and wouldn't be able to handle it. I have a feeling that he will get caught by his parents and end up staying home which I think he needs to do anyways.
