Chapter 7

Ackley has pimple cream all over his face and trying to sleep. He wants to know what happened? and wanna play canasta? Holden won't tell because he never discusses his personal life with him. Ackley won't let him sleep in Elys bed. Holden tells Ackley that the fight was about him. Stradlater is mostly talk but this time he actually did it. Holden turned off the light and went back to Ely's bed. Holden says Stradlater had quite the technique with girls when they had double dated. Stradlater was in the back with his date. Stradlater had came back to the room and turned off the light. There were no cars outside and it was very quiet. Holden wakes up Ackley to ask if you have to be catholic to join a monestarty. Ackley gets mad for being woken up. Holden shakes Ackley's hand and says thanks for being a prince. He left and went out in the corridor. Then decided he was going to leave Pency for good tonight. He goes back to his room and starts packing. When he packs the skates he gets pretty sad. Any present makes him sad. His mom had gotten those for him and now he would be upsetting her by getting kicked out. He sells the typewriter that was worth $90 for $20. Looks back down the corridor and yells back about crying sleep tight ya morans. He woke everyone up. Some guy had thrown peanut shells and he about broke his neck.
